I have an LCP (original), an LCP Custom (or whatever they called the one with the red trigger}, and an LCPII. For me it boils down to this:
The LCPII trigger and ergonomics are such that I can actually hit what I'm shooting at. For a defensive handgun, that is what I'm most concerned about.
My G42 is light years better, but sometimes I need a really small gun, and that's when I put the LCPII in my pocket.
