I owned a LCRx and found the recoil more than I cared to endure. Got rid of it.
I have a CA bulldog and just can't help but enjoy that puppy...good trigger.. actually better than the Ruger or any Taurus I've ever shot.

I agree I traded my LCR38 for a LCR357.... the added weight ( still light ) makes a difference with 38+P

And I also agree .. my 38Spl Charter Bulldog has a remarkable trigger ...

Looking to get a wheel gun. I've been eyeing them as another ccw option. My hesitation on the LCRx (yep, I want an exposed hammer) is the light weight. Some reviewers says it's extremely snappy with others saying it's not bad. I plan on using standard pressure all around.

The Charter UC and Taurus' newer 856 are intriguing as lower price options. Reliability on these two are a concern though. Buds has decent prices on the SW 642/442 but like I said, I want an option for single action. I don't see an sw 637 without that internal lock either.

Any input from those with experience with these models would be very welcome. Thanks for looking.
By the way, Charter Arms also offers a left handed version of the Undercover.
