Simply going by what I have sitting in the cabinet in 30 caliber, I would say Speer, or anything that cost more than Nosler BT's.
Not that there aren't as good or better bullet made for hunting or target, I just never had much use for them. I have several boxes in various weights, of Nosler, Sierra, and Hornady, and a couple of bulk boxes of Remington CL's. Of them all I shoot WAY more of the CL's than the rest. They do everything I need them to when I do my part and I have really not noticed things hitting the ground any faster with the higher priced ones. They shoot 1 MOA or less with the loads in my rifles out to 400yds which is plenty good enough for me.
The other brands I have are just as good, and were purchased for development through the years mainly for friends or family members, and I just ended up with them. They will get used eventually but, I doubt I will change over to one over the other.
Everyone has a criteria in mind when they work up loads for their rifles. Mine is that they shoot small groups out to at least 200yds, they are easily found, and don't cost more than .50 a pop. Other than personal preference, most of it will depend on what your wallet will allow, as now days they are all very well made. For what I hunt year in and out, the Remington's work very well time and time again.
