I like using the Lee loader kits (whack-a-mole style) once in a while. They were introduction to reloading when money was tight. Now they are just fun to use and are a quick way to load up a few rounds to try different powder amounts. I can grab one from the cabinet faster than setting up the press.
I have about ten calibers but never found a good condition, complete 12 gauge kit at an affordable price. Until today. The same fellow selling the mint ROA I posted about in the black powder thread had the deluxe 12 gauge kit. Ten dollars. I almost started a friction fire getting out the cash.
I've been playing with the idea of 12 ga. black powder shells to use with an old Stevens SxS on the trap course. No good reason, just for fun. Now I only have to get the proper size of over powder and over shot cards/wads that will fit in a 12 gauge hull.
