Some of our members twisted my arm and got me to buy a the 230gr Lee mold.
I cast a few and am starting with 4.5 gr of bullseye. I will work up from there if the accuracy isn't what I'm looking for.
The nice thing is My seating depth is the same as my 452-255 mold. So I don't need to change die settings.

I've had both the tl and the standard lube molds. They both shoot good I prefer the standard lube grove but not for any particular reason.
I bought the TL version. I'm testing with mixed brass and with sorted brass. I want a load that shoots decent with mixed brass.

I bought the TL version only because it's what was sitting on the shelf at my LGS.

If they would've had both in stock, I probably would have flipped a coin since I planned on PCing it from day one.

*edit* It's the only TL mold I have out of 11 molds (3 six cavity and 8 double cavity)

I bought the TL because it is supposed to be a plinking bullet that I can lube and load without sizing.

The range results were very positive. It was in the 30s with about a 10 mph wind. So I didn't take pictures.
Using 4.5 gr bullseye had mild recoil. Accuracy was around and inch at 10 yards using mixed brass. I'm content with the load for plinking. So I need to get busy casting a pile of them.
My wife will love it when she gets to test them for herself.

Nothing better than a satisfied customer.... I'm happy they worked out.
