Lee 9mm shellholders - difference?

Don't know, Lee just says when there 2 numbers available the first is the better choice.
I do see where the #19 fits the 40 S&W and the 10mm Auto and the #6 does not.

Lee's #19 is an example of their choice to make some of their shellholders with a little extra tolerance to enable them to fit multiple calibers. I have never tried it but the #6 *probably* doesn't fit a .40 where the #19 does.

Sorta what DManley said;
I've used both, but have shellplates and shell holders for both and find them interchangeable for the 9mm.

I've loaded .40, 10mm, .38Super, 9x21, and of course 9mm all with the same shell plates and no difficulty.

I've also used the priming arm for my Lee Classic with both also.

I prefer the #19 as it's more friendly (or forgiving if you will) with the wide variation in the case tolerances of various makes of 9mm.
