Get the pro. Dont even mess with the other one.
Well that is unless you like ball powder leaking all over. You like having to dump the hopper to try a different disk. And of course you will ream out the plastic screw hole in the hopper because it uses a machine screw to hold it together.
Posts 21 and 22 tell how to swap disks without removing the hopper.

Turning the measure upside down will result in zero spilled powder during the swap if you keep the lid on the hopper.

Oh as a side note. The auto disk will work on other presses too. Get the adapter that screws into the top of the charging die. That way you can lock it in at the proper angles to clear all the moving parts.
Yes, the adapter is very handy. It is called the "Lee Auto-Disk Powder Measure Swivel Adapter" and its part number is Lee #: 90477. Costs about $6.

The "Riser" for the Lee Auto-Disk is handy, too, as it raises the whole powder measure up about an inch and a quarter (estimate). The risers can be stacked, too.
AUTO DISK RISER Part # 90041 about $10

Granted, this is true, but the Pro Hopper is still easier IMO, and I have both. Have 6 of the standard ones that a friend gave me along with all of his reloading gear. Seldom use them. The Pro is my go to measure.

I accidentally bought the regular one and have used it for a few hundred rounds on my single stage: works great but I'll get the pro when I need another one, just because.

Oh, yeah. I agree. The Pro is much nicer.

What would you take for the old models?

Actually I am only half kidding. If I found extra measures locally (no shipping) so that I could mount one on each of my die sets, I might do it. It would mean I would have to change my storage boxes, but swapping calibers then would be so much easier.

If I was buying new ones, it would be the Pro. If buying used, I have to take what is available and the standard model does work (as Carbuncle said).

If I had one for each die & didn't change the load it probably wouldn't matter.
