A friend gave me an almost there Lee LoadMaster. Excellent condition. Less than a $100 to get it cranked. Now as a past owner of some Pro Lee 1000s, I am aware of the high maintenance and the primer thing.
My question (and I have a solution) is about the index rod/bar and the plastic flipper. The flipper dropped off the 45 degree rib almost immediately. After a lot of lookin' I took a clothes hanger, a drill, a bit, a screw, and an approriate tap and solved the problem. The flipper does its thing every time and it actually is much easier to press on the index rod/bar. There is no extra force needed to get it started.
Examine the pictures and ask questions. It was super simple.
PS: In the picture it shows the clothes hanger not fastened at the bottom. I tethered it in its normal position to gain more tension and probably maintain it over time.
