If I can think of this, it's probably been done before....

however, in the chance it hasn't:

Many people buy the lee perfect measure due to it's low cost. Many people also ditch it because it leaks with some powders. Mine is no different. however, I got to thinking, in those powders it handles well, it is an extremely accurate measure - why not create a list of powders that it likes vs ones to avoid? It might help an interested or budget minded reloader in the long run.

So I'll start off the list.

Powders it likes:
Trail Boss
Blue dot
Clays
IMR 4064

Powders to avoid:
W231
HS6
HS7

It measures Tite Group well, but leaks.
Maybe have a coffee can or some wide mouthed can/jar mounted under it?

W231 and IMR 4831

The Lee PPM actually does a fine job of dispensing W231 with great consistency, without leakage.

It does not like IMR 4831 due to bridging issues.

mine leaks a bit with Unique, but doesn't make a huge mess.

I've only loaded Unique however, so I have nothing to compare it too

I think its perfect just the way it is. I have not experianced the problems with lee gear. Works well with AA2230 and Xterminator. RE-15 and Varget.

Powders it likes:
Trail Boss

Mine will throw it, but because it's a stick powder, it likes to get jammed up inside sometimes. I can feel it snap a grain in half when i'm throwing it. I have better luck with IMR4320

My Lee PPM will drop stick powder BETTER than my RCBS Uniflow.
For such a cheap feeling piece of plastic is works very well,

The PPM does not jam or cut like the RCBS, sad but true.:)

Like reported earlier, mine drops RL15 and Varget quite reliably.
No problems either with H380 or 700X

So , the Pro Powder Measure doesn't have these problems?

In my experience, the pro measure meters even small spherical powders perfectly. I just metered a bunch of lil gun with no issues this morning.

Exactly.

There is no upgrade for the PPM (manual hand crank kind)

There are the Lee Auto Discs and the Lee Pro Auto Disk. The update changes it to a round hopper rather than square. But no Teflon so why bother? For the price just buy a new Pro Auto Disk.
