I have a 1 stage Lee Press. Was actually a gift from my wife. I use a Dillon LX650 for my .223 reloading. I decided that I could use this Lee to just deprime. I have no experience with the Lee. What do I need to get, so that the case holder holds .223? The press case holder is too big for this cal. I'm sure it's something easy, but the instructions are not very good. Is there a Cal. conversion kit or something? Thanks.

FWIW: The #4 lee shell holder is critiqued as being "loose" on the Lee case-holder site. Several critiques had the same complaint. One poster said the RCBS holder fit and was tighter on .223 Remington cases.

Thank you guys. I posted this, then went on the road for a few days and couldn't get back to this. It's a Lee Breech Lock Challenger "O" Frame Press (if that helps). It's all it says on the box. Thank you for all the responses, I'll go through each one and see what applies to this particular press.

Wob, that's how it started. I bought a Hornaday universal decapping die, and started to set up the press. then realized something was not right. figured it was something as easy as this, but I'm pretty new to all of it, and it's just easier to ask a question here, than spend hours figuring it out for my self. I picked up a shell holder today and will install in the morning. I'm really happy to have a second press just to help prep for my main press. Someday I'll have a really great opportunity to take a great pick of my bench like a lot of you do, with several presses and lots of really awesome equipment. this is a fantastic hobby!!!!
