Well remington makes um and ruger and of course Weatherby ... sure winchester does to ..plus a custom maker or 2

Edit: I wont reccomend Remington becuse of piss poor service from them

I'm partial to Remington but there's also Savage, Ruger (& I think the Winchester M70). There's also a number of smaller factories around too so pick up a copy of Precision Shooter or The Accurate Rifle if you want to find them.

I just picked up this left hand bolt action Savage 110 in 30-06 for $270 on www.gunbroker.com

Didnt come with the scope. I added a Burris 3X9X40 scope.

So far it shoots pretty darn good. I put 24 rounds thru it last weekend and plan on putting another 20 thru next weekend.

Price wise from lowest to highest for lefties goes like this:

Savage
Ruger
Winchester
Howa
Weatherby

and so on.

Most companies do offer left handed bolt action rifles but the most common I see out in the gunshops are Savage and Ruger. The other ones are mostly special order.

Go to Wal-Mart and ask to see their special order catalog for rifles and shotguns and see what the going prices are for them.

Also keep an eye on www.gunbroker.com, www.auctionarms.com and
www.gunsamerica.com. I know there is still a left handed bolt action 7MM mag for around $280 on gunsamerica now.

Here's what I picked up. It has a Monte Carlo stock on it. Does not have the accutrigger but the trigger on it is pretty light.

Aside from their southpaw centerfires, Savage also makes their rimfire boltguns in lefthanded persuasion. I have a 93GL in .22 Mag that's a keeper.

You can get southpaw action rifles from virtually every well-known manufacturer today. But the caliber selection is not very good. Log on to all the main stem rifle maker web sites and spend some time looking. You'll probably find what you want, eventually, but not much in a varmint caliber.

I think Savage is probably the best bang for the buck though.
