I had no clue as to how long it would take to get an updated one with my new residential address on it

And BTW, NJ is the only state I know that requires you to get a new FID if you have a sex - change operation!

you will need a card but you will probaly be back home before you get it mine took 8 months just because i moved within the state

I used to have a high capacity magazine on a calico M-100 in the 22 caliber, It now lives in NC. I bought it in 1986-1987 from a gun store here in jersey. Know I know that high capacity mag's are illegal now but when I bought it, it was legal. Would that mean that I was exempt from this law with this gun due to the fact it was purchased before the ban?

If it's over 15 rounds it's still illegal.
