Let’s see an odd item that you use in your reloading process.

@Litetrigger keeping all of his die boxes in drawers gives me anxiety - even worse that the drawers hold 49 boxes each... Different brands of die boxes have different sizes, and what do I do when my drawers hold n die boxes, but I buy n+1 dies/die sets? I have to go breathe into a paper bag just thinking about it!

(Mine are on shelves, stacked and packed, for easy identification and access, and I have extra shelf space available at the ready when I inevitably outgrow my current shelf = room to breathe!!!)

Here's a few mods I added to my legacy Lee Value 4-hole turret press to make it so much more user-friendly.
1. Hex coupling nuts as risers to accommodate a small spent primer carch tray underneath
2. Golf ball to improve the handle
3. 3D printed fence to keep primers from flying out
4. Magnetic lamp to witness the powder drop into case

I also used a VARIAC when I made an 8amp 0-17 VDC box along with building the full wave bridge rectifier. I also TIG welded the case.

Cool! I used to make stuff like that when I was younger, haven't built anything in a while, but I never stopped collecting the parts for projects I wanted to build.

I use empty allergy pill bottles to cover my Lee charging dies with NOE powder thru expander inserts I put a label on them so I don’t mix them up as I have two for 9mm, one for 38 super and two for 38 special , I also set the stock expanders in line with them uncovered. They all set in two 7/8 die holders from Inline Fabrication . I also use stacked 4x6’s to mount both my presses on I find they work extremely well. I bolt the bottom to the bench then just use two 5.5 inch 1/4 inch lags screws to hold each one on and just add another 4x6 if needed to get the press where I want them I like to stand for reloading

Got around to redoing my media sieve. This is designed mainly for 9mm. The ribs on the sides and bottom help tumble the cases and spill the media out as you rotate it. It could be screwed to the top of the vibrator in place of the lid and then held upside down with the motor on, but I just pour everything into it and turn it by hand a few turns. My simple CAD program only allows a max of 64 facets on a curved surface, so the outside isn't perfectly smooth. I did however set the interior sides to 18 and that gave me perfect placement for the vertical ribs. Why is it two colors? Ran out of the filament and my backup roll was obviously darker.

In the picture is the red prototype, crudely spaced, too many ribs. The final version is bigger to mate perfectly with the opening of the vibrator.

I used to make shifter knobs with 8 balls. I drilled and tapped them then inserted a HELICOIL. The trick was getting the threads right, so the 8 ball was up and down in the correct view. I also did some grenades in the same manner.

MeanStreak Paint Markers are my secret eye saver tools.....mark on, wipe excess off, with mineral spirits.....simple and fast. Odd? Only that more reloaders haven't found out about it. But I'm a building contractor.....it's a common tool in my business. ;)

In the case of shell holders.......I apply cold blue first, so the contrast is better......that applies to any part that's not blued like certain brands of PTX's. Takes minutes.....
