Harry Reid has been a good friend of gunowners and supporters of the 2nd Amendment. This is all that matters to me. i could care less that the pro-gun politician is a Baptist preacher or a lesbian Wiccan.

I can't agree with that opinion. Anyone who would place people in such positions that can on a whim destroy the free exercise of a God given right is neither a friend nor a supporter of ANY of our rights. That goes double for when those people placed in power will likely be in those positions of power for very long after that person is gone.

Go ahead and replace Reid with unknown quantity. That will make Chuckie Schumer very happy. Schumer would replace Reid in the US senate and then you would have some real efforts to ram gun control down out throats.
