RedState this morning has reported that they have learned that NRA is leaning toward endorsing Sen. Harry Reid.
I'm a Life Member of the NRA and my father was a member before me. But if this info is correct, it boggles my mind. I'm not going to bash the NRA here. I believe in the NRA, but our Association needs to be told by our membership that Reid's opponent, Sharon Angle, needs the NRA endoresement.
There is no good reason NRA should do this and we need to tell them that. Call NRA-ILA hotline, 1-800-392-8683 then press 3 and in a very polite and Highroad manner leave a message in opposition to what NRA contemplates. Harry Reid is not a friend of American freedom and exceptionalism, nor is he representative of the membership of NRA. He is only a false friend of the firearm/2A community, pandering for votes.
