Lever Action Machine Gun

Thats just awesome.
But is it really a machine gun? The trigger is pressed for each shot, by the lever stub. A machine gun fires two or more rounds with a single pull of the trigger but that's not what is happening here. The trigger is actuated for each round fired.
Im no expert but in my understanding its more like one action that fires multiple rounds is a machine gun, doesnt matter whats disengaging the sear. Like putting a power drill on a gatlin gun i think would be illegal without the proper credentials.
Its tough to determine how you would fire this. Im not positive of its ability to fire full auto, seems it would be a runaway MG. But with JMB anything is possible. Cant run too long on a tube mag but i have a hard time believeing that would be inherent to the design (i realize its a rough prototype/proof of concept).

Gun crank? Bumpstock?

You guys realize that when John Moses Browning built this cantankerous contraption, America was a free country and no one had to worry about BATF ninjas surrounding their log cabins and "Wacoing" them ...... right?;)

Obviously, but the ownership today is heavily regulated regardless of when it was made.
