The above was jammed packed with used, some unfired autoloaders & revolvers. In my neck of the woods (NEPA) you had a hard time finding a decent fairly priced used firearm anywhere for the last year. All three of their large showcases were packed with high quality name brand firearms. Prices were more than fair. I think some of the gun buying craziness is starting to wear off. I believe a lot of rushing gun buyers are going to be selling.

A) Cool beans! Glad you're seeing some signs of improvement. :) B) I think both depends on where you are. North Florida prices are still crazy high and all the shelves are filled with is the same-old plastifantastix from around the third world in 9mm. If you like designer label Khyber Pass plastic 9's, this is your time to shine.

That sounds like a year after the Sandy Hook shooting when I went to the gunshow and all these guys were standing around with the ARs they had paid a $1000-$3500 for and were now trying to sell them at a loss and the tables were loaded with brand new ARs selling for less than $600. I sort of thought that this would be the case with the handguns that were bought in a panic by new shooters. I kind of hate it though. We needed the new shooters for support. I hope they don't quit and give up on gun ownership.

I'm with you, but I've been pessimistic about it since the "panic" started. I guess the silver lining (if there is one) is that we might find a few bargains on some barely used guns sometime soon.;)

Here, it depends on the store. 2 stores in the area have restocked their shelves. One has a good selection of new Glocks and S&W's. Both take in consignments and you see some interesting stuff there.
A couple other shops don't seem to be doing as well getting guns in. Both have alot of their inventory in Turkish handguns. Revolvers are slim to none.

Must be regional. My local LGS looks like a Havana supermarket... nearly bare shelves and everything left has been picked over 4 times..:(

Stay safe..

Yep! Same here.
My LGS does have a small selection of off-brand handguns that look like knock offs. I don’t even bother looking at those and can’t tell you the names. One clerk tried to interest me in one of them and one of the guys that’s been there a while and knows me waved him off.

They are getting in more long guns, which is also a good sign.

My LGS has a good selection but is WAY overpriced (same for ammo). My local Academy had at least 10 new Glocks and full cases of other brands. All at near 2019 prices. If Academy can do this, overpriced used guns will never sell, which is perfect.

My LGS has plenty of ammo but pricey and recently quite a lot of brand name used guns. I had to talk myself out of picking up a Springfield Range Officer and an HK45. Quite a few SARS - I don’t know if this is people dumping guns or upgrading

Im seeing more pre owned guns showing up too but all of them are older than this current rush. A few pre-lock Smiths, 1911s, etc.

Not sure that means the newbers are selling off their recently acquired first time firearms but it is still promising.

That sounds like my LGS. A lot of Turkish made pistols, a few 22lr pistols now and then and very very few revolvers if any.

It seems like everywhere I go, the same M&P’s, various bland flavors of overpriced glocks and Wrangler revolvers

Actually one in the Tallahassee area has some nice revolvers, Colt 1911s and some nice looking used shotguns and rifles that are not black plastic

The internet has pretty much ruined the used gun inventories at the two large local gun stores that I frequent. Used guns at retail stores are generally trades or consignments and on-line transactions makes more sense for many sellers and buyers.

Not much selection anywhere around here. I've been to a few gun auctions with large selection - the "plastic guns" have been selling close to normal retail, the revolvers and classic rifles are high..
