I build and shoot the Liegi Derringer from Davide Pedersoli it was a very simple kit to build and lots of fun to shoot but I could not hit the broad side of a barn with it.I actually took out my chrony because it shot so high.

Another entertaining video, even if the results weren't exactly what you'd hoped for!

I hope your Chrony heals completely and quickly.

It just occurred to me: what if the high shooting was endemic to "deringer" or vest pocket gun design?

I anxiously anticipate your follow-up video in which you attempt to dispatch an unruly Spam Can whilst shootin' from the hip!

I'm actually kinda serious! If I had a fancy Liegi pistol, I'd put the Spam can - or perhaps something slightly larger - at about torso height and shoot as though I'd just drawn it from a pocket.

There must be an easy way to stick a crude sight onto the barrel even if it's only a temporary one, mostly to guide the elevation.
Maybe wrap a zip tie on the barrel and leave enough of a tail sticking up that can be trimmed to size or something.
Or zip tie a little piece of wood onto the barrel, and then stick a pin in it if you need to.
There should be an easy way that only costs a few cents, like looping a piece of tape around the barrel, sticking the ends together and leaving a tail sticking straight up.
Use it for a few shots and then take it off and throw it away if you don't like it.

Here's another idea:
Wrap a piece of tape around the barrel to protect the finish.
Whittle a piece of wood into a front ramp sight or find a cheap plastic one.
Then use a mini-hose clamp to secure it to the barrel, or wrap it with a piece of wire.
Then adjust the height of the front site, and adjust the windage by loosening the hose clamp and rotating the entire sight.
You can always stick a pin, nail or wire in the wood if you can't whittle an entire partridge front sight.
You can do this!

Use it for a few shots and then take it off and throw it away if you don't like it.
Or until you get a "feel" for point-of-impact relative to point-of-look-in-the-general-area-of. :)

Is this armchair quarterbackin'? It feels like armchair quarterbackin'.
