Henry US SURVIVAL rifle. 2 3/4 lbs. Breaks down & stores into its own stock. Also floats. Prity cool. $200 ish. Can get in silver, flat black, or cammo.
How about my Stevens #26 Crackshot? Made around 1915, it doesn,t even have a receiver -- the barrel simply lies in a groove in the frame, and is held down with a thumbscrew.
Totally different direction from that gorgeous hand built double rifle, but the Bushmaster Carbon 15 Type R21 rifle comes in right at 4 lbs without magazine.
