I just reamed the barrel on my stevens 200 to .450 bushmaster. Looking at the data lilgun seems to be a good powder for it. However I've heard it burns very hot and can cause issues in some guns. Will it be a good choice for this rifle or should I use 296?

It will erode forcing cones in revolvers, specially stainless ones (Freedom Arms had a warning about voiding their warranty by using it).
It is also reported as quickly burning throats in 22 Hornet.

If you haven't bought the powder yet, pick an other one.

I'm using what I have in stock. And I've had two pounds of lilgun for a couple of years with nothing to use it in.
