The NRA used to have a "Blacklist" on their website.

I went looking for it a while ago and could not locate it.

I understand that certain anti-gun movie stars where offering $10,000.00 to be placed on the list - kinda like a status symbol for the liberal crowd.

Sounds like a fine program for the NRA, let them pay 10k a piece and that money goes straight into the old war chest to fight against them.

Oh, brother. That Pink Pistols list just makes me sick. I think all of those actors on there like Dennis Quaid, Robert Redford and Ethan Hawke should put their money where their mouth is and refuse to play any gun-using heroes in movies from now on. Oh wait, that would mean the end of their careers. And I guess all those politicians also object to their bodyguards and security details carrying guns. Or does their opposition to guns just apply to "everyone else except me and my friends?"

And all the Jewish groups on that list...no fewer than FIVE different Jewish organizations. Being a Jew myself, it makes my skin crawl.

It looks like the list from the NRA website which we discussed a short time ago. Many names on the list are no longer alive and some (Aerosmith, for example) have reversed their position.

I think you are onto something here. There certainly seems to be no shortage of hypocrisy amongst actors. Ethan Hawke starred in Training Day, a film with no shortage of gun-play involved...and I have a feeling he accepted pay for his participation

I also heard Tom Cruise is quite an anti - this from the guy who stars in the Mission Impossible series.

So if all these actors and actresses who are supposedly anti refused to make films that involve firearms I think two things would happen: 1. they would quickly be b-list or "lesser" stars and 2. would be immediately replaced by other actors.

Whatever happened to not biting the hand that feeds you?
