Live in Mo trust not an option who does the sign off for sbr

Ok guys I love in mo and I am wanting to build my sbr lower done been engraved so I ask y'all what Leo does the sign off is it local police state or sheriffs please help clear this up thanks

My understanding is that it would by the sherif of the county you live in.

I have no doubt the the Greene county sherif where I live would sign off but I opted for the trust route.

I live in MO and have been filling out my C&R (FFL03) paperwork and was told by the Chief of Police that it is the Sheriff who signs the paperwork as the CLEO in this case. Good luck.

So looking at the PDF that mr. Earl linked I saw that it said I could use a money order or check is this true.

Yes, a check is perfectly fine. Do you really want to bounce a check written to a tax agency? That combined with the very long delay makes it safe for them to accept checks.

Sure but if you use a check you know it arrived and they cashed it. With a MO not so.

I had the local Chief of Police sign my first Form 4. I'm going the LLC route for the second.
