I loaded them with 24 grains of TAC. No data to verify that load. But there is data for H335. The 2 powders are next to each other. In the burn rate chart. I loaded 70 rounds before i caught my mistake. So should i pull them. Or maybe they will ok? I looked at data in other cartridges that list data for both powders. And the charges are very close to each other. Thanks Al.

I tried a case full of H335 in 300 BO with a 150 gr. As I recall, the Quickload evaluation for my load was better looking than the one below. However, there was so much unburned powder in the gun, it would not reliably go into battery after a couple of rounds.

Code:
Cartridge : 7.62 x 39 (M43) Russ.
Bullet : .308, 124, 314-123-FN GC M3
Useable Case Capaci: 32.064 grain H2O = 2.082 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.000 inch = 50.80 mm
Barrel Length : 18.0 inch = 457.2 mm
Powder : Ramshot TAC *C

If, when I create an OOPS!. I pull and dump. No questions askes, no problems, live and learn...

You'll probably get a few hints on how to manage your powder uses (one bottle on the bench, stickie notes on powder measure or scale, etc.). Choose one and practice it...

What happened is. I put some Tac in a empty CFE Black bottle. From my 8lb jug. I had it marked tac with a white paint pen. It was an overlook on my part. I put the powder back in the 8lb jug after i error-ed. Lesson learnt.

A big strip of duct tape over the old label so that it can't be seen. Then a new label or magic marker. No mistaking a can if you can't read the old label at all. Also one canister at a time on the bench.

With the new plastic cans one can use a hair dryer to heat the old label to make it easier to remove if that is your end goal. Not as easy as covering things up but it works well.

Speaking of H335. My last visual accident happened with H332 and H335. It was a visual miscue for me, nothing to do with the bench or segregation. very close cousins in the .223. (edit out the stupidity.)
