Loading .35rem with .357 bullets

I just bought a Marlin Lever in .35 Remington and I read that you can use .357 pistol bullets for a plinking round. Anyone done this? If so what was the load you used.

I use the RCBS 38-200 RN and either Red Dot or Unique for blinkers. Sized to .358 in my microgroove Marlin.

I have done it with Trail Boss, but I haven't tried it with any other powders yet.

I use cast and jacketed...Just remember that if you use cast and your barrel is Micro-Groove, your best bet is to start with fat bullets...

Mine will shoot .358" cast, but not well at 50 yards...The groups tighten right down if I run .360" or 'patch' the smaller diameter bullets...

yes you can , most of my load data book have loads using 158 FP's and HP's , Hornady's 6th edition has loads using there HP-XTP and FP-XTP's , Speer also listed 158gr bullets in there book , I loaded bunny rounds using 9mm cast bullets with Bulleyes ,data I got from an old Handloader Magazine , I don't remember what the charge was but I think it was about the same as you would use in a 38spl ,
