This is my first venture into loading FMJ 135 bullets. I have the Lee book and have noted the listings for 135 jacketed and the powders I have.
My question: Given equal bullet weights, are jacketed bullets loaded a tad hotter than lead? It seems like I've heard/read this before.

I worked up some loads with my 7 powders and did some chrono testing at the range yesterday. Bullets are the RMR 135 FMJ. My pistol is the Ruger ec9s. I have the Lee Breechlock press with the Pro Auto Disk powder dispenser:
A#5, hole .37, 5.6 grains, averaged 865 fps.
Titegroup, hole .32, 3.6 grains, averaged 885 fps.
HP38, hole .37, 3.8 grains, averaged 870 fps.
IMR 7625, hole .46, 4.3 grains, averaged 870 fps.
Bullseye, hole .40, 3.8 grains, averaged 855 fps.
A#2, hole .37, 3.6 grains, averaged 865 fps.
e3, hole .53, 3.2 grains, averaged 830 fps.
COL is 1.116 which was determined by the plunk test in my Ruger ec9s. The punched target holes were clean with no tumblers. Accuracy was good and tight. Since I'm not fond of hot loads, my goal was to have fps numbers in the mid to high 800 range. I can't believe how sweet this worked out. I may bump up the e3 load to the next higher disk hole which is .57. These are just general target shooting loads. I liked how the ec9s handled these rounds. Not snappy and a pleasure to shoot. I think I have found my new "go to" bullet!

I recall your thread regarding anticipated shipping time on these. I'm glad they turned out great!
