They are the best way to load a BP revolver. You have complete control of each step and when you seal up with lube over the chambers you can clean it up nicely. They are not difficult to make if you have a decent picture to work with. They are worth the effort.

Here are the dimensions if you want to build it yourself:
Base is 6 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide by 3/4" thick
Upright is 3 7/8" high by 3 1/2" wide by 3.4" thick
Front edge of upright is located 3 7/8" from the front edge of the base; if the upright is folded down it fits within the dimensions of the base.
The notch in the upright is 1 3/8" deep, the upper opening is 1 1/2" wide at the top by 7/8" deep; the lower opening is 1" wide at the top by 1/2" deep.
The notch in the base is 7/8" wide at the front and begins 5/16" back from the front edge of the base. It is 2" long. Depth iis 1/4" in the center at the front edge tapering to zero at the back edge and on either side.
And finally, if you would rather just buy one, here's a site that I'm told still sells them:

I made one in about 30 min. with scrap wood from and old bed rail and a brass hinge and two dif. size hole saws

Duncan had posted a pic of one for me a while back that was similar to the photo here and I purchased it for around 12 bucks I think. Then I was introduced to a loading stand for my cylinders from Dixie...http://www.dixiegun.com/ I use them both, just depends on my mood when I'm shootin. If I bring along my extra cylinder then the latter is a must. The wooden stand lets me keep her out to look at too!
