locked up p-95 help please

just sold a good friend a ruger p-95dc showed him how to strip and reassmble and wasnt watching what he did and now the pistol is locked up something awful

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks for all the replies lol

figured it out. used a paper clip to move the ejector out of the way of the slide through the magazine well and the slide came off

reason for the problem was an upside down guide rod

Dang that is good to know! I almost did the same thing once but noticed before putting the slide back on the frame. Thanks for sharing so we can all learn from your experiences.

Been there...done that!!! Had to call Ruger and the woman I told what it was doing...after she stopped laughing she told me how to fix it:banghead:

I did the same thing to mine once. Ended up using a dental pick to carefully pull down the take-down lever and get it apart. Had me panicked for a second though.

That;s Why I keep one in my range bage, Lucky Ive not had to use it but once ; )
