i got my ar now im going to need dies so i can afford to shoot it lol .... where is a good place to look for dies?? i dont care if they are new or used (as long as they are good)

didnt i see a place on here to buy or sell??? i didnt see it just now,

thanks yall

I tried a few before settling on a redding set with neck bushings. Little more expensive but tunable and very nice.

I have a full set of Hornady dies, a full set of RCBS w/ small base sizing die, and a Lee FCD. When loading for an AR I typically use the RCBS small base die. I always use the Hornady seating die, the guide sleeve on it has saved my fingers more than once and the Hornady seater seems to give me more.consistent COLs than the RCBS (especially with polymer tipped bullets). And if I'm going to crimp at all, I use the Lee FCD.

I recommend starting with the Hornady set, and if you find it necessary for your rifle(s), purchase an RCBS small base sizer (not a full set).

I use Lee dies, only the full sizer and seater. I adjust the seater to put a crimp on the neck for cannelures. I also run the cases through an L.E. Wilson case gage after sizing.

You have to be logged in to see it.

Buy some small base or standard RCBS dies and get loading.

I use the Lee 4 die set. I set the sizer using a Lyman case gauge and I don't use the factory crimp die. Loading for an AR and a Mini. I don't know if it's possible with other die sets but I've used the decapping/expander to drive out a stuck case. Come in handy when you mess up.

I have a set of Lee .223 dies and a set of RCBS .223 dies and both produce very accurate ammo. For some reason I like the RCBS dies better but not because the ammo is better.
