Looking for a .375 H&H

I put a McM on my 416 Rem M70 and it lost 1/2#. It is a very nice stock with a near perfect comb to allow the best balance of open sights and scope use I have ever experienced. I highly recommend the stock and it does not require bedding of the barrel mounted lug (leave with clearance) so a full free float is possible and works very well. One way to make the 375 a bit lighter as does using PTG aluminum bottom metal.

My brother up in Alaska has two of them -and they're his usual carry in the field (he lives a full-bore subsistence life style, based in the MatSu area...). This is just a guess on my part but I think you might find a variety of used 375's up there....
Full bore subsistence life style in MatSu is running a meth lab:evil:

He's about 30 miles up the Glenn from Palmer with land on the river.... and yes, anywhere near towns you can find your share of lowlives if you go looking for them.

I think minimum fare these days is around $35k unless you have some connection in Africa.

Woolecox,

You sir are incorrect.

You can do a very good dangerous game hunt including buffalo and elephant, with some a plains game combo and come in well under that. You can also come in much higher if that is your desire.

Hunting Africa is a bargain compared to guided hunting prices in America.
