Dear Members.

I have located an ERMA E M 1 .22 LR rifle. It is a TORRO, version which were made for Spain. The gun is fitted with a telescope and the owner seems to have misplaced the rear sight. I intend to but the gun, but first I want to locate a rear sight.

Can any one help or guide me.

Em-1 sights are almost impossible to find & bring a very high price when you do.
I modified a Springfield 1903a3 sight to fit mine after several years of searching for an original with no luck.
I filed a slot down the middle and used a button head cap screw to attach it to the rifle

SSH: I just MIGHT be able to help you. I've a sight in my spare junk drawer that closely resembles the one illustrated on Numrich's site, better px would determine if it's proper...anyway PM me & if I can help I will.

Just rechecked that Numrich schematic & I am virtually positive it's the one you are looking for.....your call.

Rear sight for ERMA EM1 .22 LR rifle

Dear ... , Dogrunner.
Thanx for the offer. is it possible that you send me a pic of the subject peice. That was I will also be satisfied. You see it will be traveling continents so we must be sure as to what we are getting. I dont live in USA, but my relative by the name of Mr. Hasan is planned to come to visit me some time aroung 15 Dec. He is in Austin , Texas. Once I am sure about the sight I wil ask him to contact you.

Also please inform me as to what is the demand for this sight and your contact number so we can call you. Thanks

SSH: Though I am positive that the sight I have is correct there is a problem. IE: ITAR.......I do not believe that it's possible, less an export license to either send that sight nor may your friend transport it unless he's a licensed exporter/dealer. Sorry, wish I could help you. Hell, I was gonna GIVE you the thing, but I sure don't need the export/treaty problem.

Thanx any way. But yes we have to remain within the law. However, there is still some hope. The previuos owner has informed that he will look into his closets and try to find the old sight. He sounded quite confident. I am keeping my fingers crossed !!!!
