I'm looking for a holster that my Glock 17 would feel at home in. I currently have the Glock factory holster, which isn't too bad, but I've noticed that I can shove the weapon so far down the holster that it gets stuck and becomes very difficult to draw it. And while I'm on it, I'd like to be able to wear my holster on my thigh as well, because we have this thing called winter, which makes you really want to wear a jacket, which in turn makes it hard to draw from your belt. So, in a nutshell, I want the following from my holster:
- easily transferred from the belt to the thigh and back
- an optional thumb break that can be taken off when not needed
So far, I've been looking at tactical tailor's modular holster (here ), and really, really like the price tag on it.
EDIT: Some of Blackhawk's holsters look good as well.
Any views/opinons are welcome.
