Looking for a New Rifle

Hi all,

Looking for suggestions on a new rifle... I want to keep the price around $600 if possible.

Here is what I have already:

Marlin 795 .22lr
AO M1 Carbine
Ruger Mini-14 .223

I prefer mag fed semi-auto, but am open to a bolt action. I am in California, so if I decided to get an AR, first off, it would have to be a cheapie to keep it near my price range, and second, it would have to be a neutered CA model.

I am not a hunter, and I do not compete with rifles, so this is just something for range enjoyment.

Any ideas?

From your post it's clear you don't need any more centerfire rifles.
Sounds like a high-grade .22 is the ticket. Given your criteria, I'd say the Weatherby Mark XXII has your name all over it. Here is one listed on Gunbroker.com
