Looking for a ported barrel for my new Glock 34

Anybody have experience switching out barrels on a Glock 34? I am in the process of making a 'race gun'. Big question is, is it worth to even put an aftermarket barrel in and do the ports make a big enough difference? Barrel accuracy seems to be excellent with the one Glock puts in and I don't plan to shoot lead bullets.

www.storm-lake.com has them, ported pretty much however you want it.

I don't have one myself, how do you like the 34?

The 34 is probably one of the most accurate pistols I have. Tested it bench rested. I only have to practice a lot more with it since the Glock trigger pull is really not my bag.
