I'm tired of my red dots looking all fuzzy from my astigmatism, so I'm looking at prism scopes. Either 1x or I guess up to 3x. It's going on a 9mm sbr so I don't need a lot of power. I'd prefer 1x

So far I've found:
Vortex spitfire (2 flavors, 1x and 3x, and I don't like the reticle of either. The center dot of the drt is way too faint, and the second ring too big. 3x is sort of ok, but I'm not in love)
Primary arms Cyclops. Not a huge fan of the reticle, but it might work, however, all the reviews say the center Chevron is tiny. Too tiny. Like the drt from vortex.
Burris ar-332 poor eye relief, dislike the reticle.
Burris ar 1x what is up with all these busy, cluttered rticles with tiny center dots?
Bushnell lil prism looks to small (I am Coss eye dominant, so both eyes open don't work, and that tube looks tiny)
Bushnell accelerate - bulky, heavy, 4x
Athlon has a couple, a 1x and a 3x. 1x might work I suppose, but I don't know much about athlon.

Unless I have missed something everything else is either over $400 or over 3x. Anybody have anything they can recommend? If you've used one of them, what are your thoughts? Are the reticles as busy or distracting as they look in the pictures?

Not a prism scope but you might want to check out a HoloSun HS510C reflex. I have astigmatism as well and have the same problems with fuzzy red dots. The HS510c is clear for me.

Choice of 3 reticles...dot, circle, circle dot all coming from the same emitter so there is no zero loss when switching
Claims a remarkable 50000 hour battery life
Power augmented by solar cell
Titanium sun screen / guard
Always on / shake awake
Auto briteness or manual briteness selectable
2 NV compatible settings

There are some pretty good YT review videos on the optic.

My use case is a home defense AR platform. I was looking for CQB type applications. The always on and auto brightness were features that attracted me. I don't want to be fiddling with a power switch or be blinded by the reticle if I have to rise from bed for a security problem during the night.

I currently have the Bushnell tr25 on the rifle, and while servicible it is starbursty and dim, even with a new battery, in bright light, it's hard to pick up.
