Taurus won't sell, Numrich is out of stock, Internet search is unsuccessful:

Does anyone know of a source for a three inch stainless steel barrel to fit a Taurus 731 or 741 .32 H&R Magnum?

Lancel - just keep looking, eventually you'll find one or Numrich will get one in stock. It took me several years to find a S&W M53 barrel - and I had to buy a gun to get it. I found a M53 on GunsAmerica that came with an extra barrel - so I bought them ($595 for everything, a good price for a M53). Now I just need to find someone who can make a 7-shot K-frame cylinder in 270 REN for me and get the barrel re-bored to .277". and put it all together on a M19 frame. Eventually, someday, I'll have a totally unique revolver for varmint shooting.

If you got the right size barrel but wrong caliber, you can always send it to Bobby Hoyt of PA to line for you. He did one rifle for me and right now he's doing a S&W M-18 bbl that's bulged.

Now that's an interesting thought! I'll definitely keep that in mind if I can't find the right caliber barrel.

Thanks,
Larry
