Mods - feel free to move this to wherever it would best be.

As some of you know, I've got a wedding coming up in 12 days. I'm looking for empty 12ga. shotshell hulls to make table number holders out of. So far, I've checked Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Gander MTN and the only empty hulls I've found are brass and way out of my price range for something I'll use once. If I didn't live in the Chicago suburbs and it wasn't about 20 degrees here, I'd just go out and fire through a box of shells and be all set.

Does anyone know anywhere to pick up plastic empty hulls from? Any help would be great.

I have some in my basement. I can go count 'em and let you know...not sure if it's very many - how many are you looking for?

I can drop them into a flat rate box and ship tomorrow.

I'll go count them and will post how many I find.

They're the red plastic hull with brass base, I believe.

I'm going to the outdoor range near my brother's place on Wednesday. The ground is usually littered with hundreds of shells (see pic below for evidence). I know they did some construction recently but I'll be happy to pick up a bunch and mail em off Priority for ya.

Also, believe I'll be busting some clays and the current shells I have are the breast cancer awareness pink hulls. Any preference to color? Feel free to PM me with quantity and your info.

Thanks for the quick responses guys! I only need like 15-20 of them. If you could send me some, I'd gladly make it up to you with an AR mag or so.

That link from "oldandslow" has good prices and they'll be cleaner than anything I'd pick up, but the offer stands if you need it.

Found 13 yellow/silver 20 ga shells, 4 red/brass 12 ga. I know i had a ton more of the red/brass stashed somewhere, but didn't see them in a quick look around.

If i were you i'd hit up au01st, that looks like a jackpot for your needs!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding!

Edit: just checked out oldandslow's link. looks like a fantastic deal for a clean 100 hulls of what you need, you can even pick the colors you like!

I'm in Chicago Ridge. Thanks again for all the responses guys! PM sent!
