Looking for some info on tristar phoenix combo

TRISTAR PHOENIX COMBO 12/20 SXS.

cant find much info on this gun, does anyone here have any experience with this brand.

best i have found was there made in turkey.

some are low dollar some are higher up there.

can someone tell me ===good, bad, just OK


how would it compair to a ruger red label ?

I would go for the ruger. The tristar's I know of are low end (under$300)

I have owned a couple Tri Star shotgun and never had any problems out of them. I shot several of the for skeet and sporting clays and they did great. They shot well and looked great. Many folks knock the guns coming out of Turkey but in fact they do produce good quality firearms. I think many look at Turkey and assume guilt by association with the junk coming out of Pakistan...but it just ain't so.

ONLY $300 ones i have found so far have been the semi auto's

all the sxs have been $800 and up. i did find out they do not carry the Phoenix any longer and it list for $1400
