looks like I can still shoot a Glock

I haven't shot a G23 in nearly 2 years since I traded my last one for my Sig P229 , picked up this new Gen4 G23 about a hour ago, got home, pulled it out of it's case , looked and made sure the barrel was clear, loaded 2 mags of some crappy 170 gr.Perfecta FMJ and walked out to my 15 yard stake, was shooting on the sight picture averaging around a second/second and a half per shot ....pretty good for a new uncleaned gun, crappy ammo and a trigger finger tuned to Sigs and 1911s oh well say hello to my new G23

Yeah, that does happen. Twice I have up on Glocks for over a year and focused on SAO for shooting and carry, and twice for various challenges I've dragged a Glock out to run a drill or qualifier or whatever and even cold with a year or more off I just shoot them as well or better than anything else.

Based on experience, I have found that Glocks are lousy guns to trade off for something else or sell outright. I’ve always gotten low-ball offers when I tried to either trade or sell one off, luckily I’ve only traded one off, a Glock 22. I’m happy with the other 4, all super reliable, great shooters!

I've been shooting my 1911's for most of the summer. Last Saturday I brought my trusty Glock 30 and ate hole out of the bullseye at 15 yards. Love that gun.

I'm more accurate at longer ranges with my Les Baer Monolith though. I think it's the longer sight radius and trigger of the Baer.

Yeah my 5" Nitron is a beast for accuracy and has a very smooth trigger, as for Glocks I shoot them fine, I don't mind sweating all over themand banging them around on hard work days and if forced to defend myself I would cry a lot less over a case # scribed into the glock frame than I would on one of my Sigs lol
