Just got back from the pistol range and I just wanted to say I really like shooting my Blackhawk 3 screw 45 LC.

Very good choice! It's hard to beat the distinct push of that .45 Colt and the satisfaction of hand ejecting those big ol' cases. 8)

Had to think about this one, but my shooter .303 British would be my plain enjoyment shooter. It's a non matching No. 4 Mk 1, but for some reason it really pleases me to throw those big ol' soft kicking bullets with it.

My first Ruger was a three screw .44 Mag, unfortunately I ended up selling that gun to a very good friend, in order to buy my duty weapon, which was a model 19 S&W. Tried buying that gun back several times but to no avail. Ended up buying the lawyer legal Ruger Super Black Hawk in .44 Mag. Had an action job done on it, but it still isn't a 3 screw.

Performance Center piece in 45 colt. Fantastic revolver. Action smooth as the proverbial butter. It was in a collection that was being broke up and was an obvious safe queen. I bought it to shoot. I have over a 1000 rds of 45 colt ammo to use and wanted a good platform for it. I found more than good.

I had a 7 1/2" blackhawk in .45 Colt for 20 years or so (not a 3 screw), sold it to my son so I could get this:
In .45 Colt of course. I put these grips on it:
It fits my hand beautifully and I really like the looks of an unfluted cylinder.
.45 Colt is my all-time favorite revolver load fur shur.

Hah, get a Jungle Carbine, it'll turn those 'big ol' soft kicking bullets' into 'big ol' hard kicking bullets'.
Personally, I love shooting my M1 Carbine. If it wasn't ~$0.40/round I'd shoot that thing all the time. I really need to start reloading.... My Ruger MkII 22/45 is tons of fun. I was shooting farmyard trap with a few friends. Brought out the 22/45 and made the empty hulls jump all over. That is fun.

I enjoy shooting them all but the one gun I enjoy shooting the most would probably be my Ruger Vaquero in .45LC. With its highly polished stainless steel which makes it seem like it was nickel plated, along with its Tru-Ivory grips this fine looking gun shoots as great as it looks.

I had me a 3 screw .45LC way back when and for some reason it jist never really got me attatched to it and i sold it.

Anywho, i recently bot me a Vaqero .45LC and, well, ahh...lemme put it this way. I jist hafta git it out and touch it every night before i got to bed.
I'm in the process o' puttin together some rubber bullets for her so i can set up a box in the bedroom and 'shoot myself to sleep ' at nights

For pure fun, I would opt for my factory 10/22 Tactical Target with the Burris Fastfire sight and a bunch of aluminum drink cans. There is nothing quite like watching a can jump into the air when you hit it just right.

I had to put my Colt 45 in the safe. When the Old 50s Westerns came on TV I'd always have to buy a new TV the following day. I hit the screen every time I was that good a shot. :>)

Love the .45 Colt. S&W 25-15 "Classic" nickel, 25-13 Mountain Gun, 25-7, 4 5/8" Ruger Blackhawk, Ruger SS Bisley, Rossi 20" 1892 Puma.
I love shooting my 4" Freedom Arms model 97 .357. It's my only expensive handgun, bought it about 12 years ago when I had a really good week in the flooring business. Many handguns have come and gone since.
I was at the range yesterday shooting my 'Walkalong load' (148 grain plated DEWC loaded long). Didn't think I was doing all that well until I walked up to the 50 yard line to inspect the targets. Then I was pleased as punch.

Yep, next to my Bisley shown above my top-o-the-line big bore revolver is my Model 83 in .454 Casull (with a fitted .45 COlt cylinder as an accessory):

I started out with a 3-screw BH in 41mag as my first purchased handgun on my 21st birthday. It lasted a few years until I found what I had really wanted, a Redhawk in 41 magnum. By that time I also had already acquired a Redhawk in 44 magnum as well, and enjoy shooting them both. This past year I managed to find the last I believe I will need in the Redhawk chambered in 45 Colt.
While I haven't found the load I plan on sticking with just yet, I am having fun with the Colt. So far I have shot only cast through it, mostly my own, but some commercial as well, ranging from 200 through 300grs and found it does a great job with them all.
The last time out I shot the 6 shot group in the black at 50yds from a rest while working with a new to me bullet cast from my new MP 45-270 SAA HP mold,
In fact the top group in the above pic is from the 44, and this one is from my 41,
These were simply random boolits grabbed by the handfuls if each caliber grabbed from the first pours in my new molds.
