I've been looking for a new bush rifle as a backup gun recently, so when I was offered a VZ33 not matching bolt but in great condition I snapped it up, she's a keeper 20211229_115454.jpg with ironsights I managed to put 5 rounds onto 6" gong at 200 yards will be fitting a new butt pad to increase the LOP and tame some of the recoil, I'm not really a fan of old military rifles but this fits the bill nicely.

That rifle looks to be in superb condition. With a non- matching bolt it still has some collector value, possibly quite a bit. If you modify it, at least 50% of that value goes out the window.

But it's YOUR gun. Have fun with it and welcome to the monkey house.

That looks in great condition. Even with a mis matched bolt It,s worth quite a bit. I would use a slip on recoil pad. Not cut and fit a permanent one. Those guns are getting very hard to find in the condition of yours. JMO but enough have been altered. You could sell that as is and get a modern Savage, ect and probably have money left over. JMO but enough have been altered.
