Went out... made a good shot on a squack for lunch... and found this (unfortunately broken) point on my way back to the house. The cool thing is... it might have been discarded by the Indian because he broke it. Killing a deer, or even in warfare.

The squirrel dropped without a twitch... landing inches from the nut he was holding. The bullet actually went straight through his noggin and mussed up his tail as he had it curved up behind him.

He was tasty!

Oh yeah....

Love that CZ 452! Go treat yourself to one if you don't already own a fine 22 sporting rifle.

It is great if you intend to use the iron sights.

Gets your eye lined up right where it needs to be.

If you intended to scope the rifle, I would definitely get the American. It would be quite a reach to get a cheekweld and see through the scope with this rifle.

CCI Subsonic

Parboiled for 20 minutes... then on the grill with some Sweet Baby Ray's.

Yum!!

Finding broken points really sucks, but it's still an artifact. I find quite a few broken ones along with a few whole ones.

From the size of the point it looks as if it were for a spear or atlatal dart, very deadly on men, deer or hog!

Never had BBQ squirrel, always fixed with white gravy over biscuts or with dumplings, kind of rolled in seasoned flour browned real nice in bacon drippings then slow simmered in milk 'till tender then spooned over the biscuts:p
