Ordered the hardcover cuz my 49th softcover is lookin fuzzy.

Got it today (also from MidSouth).

One thing I noticed is that it has data for 45 Colt - 200 gr lead & jacketed, Accurate #5.
That's exactly what I use after talking to Accurate's ballistician about 4 years ago.
(10.5 leaves a lot of 1/2 burnt powder - 11.0 is much better)

It's been a long time since I bought a new reloading manual, so I decided to get this 50th edition if I found it locally. I dislike shipping charges. I'd put it in my Midway USA wish list just in case I put an order together before finding it locally, but it was backordered. On Monday, I logged in to my Midway USA account just to check things because it was the last day of my 'Birthday Pricing' discount. Lo and behold, the manual listed as now in stock, my birthday pricing on the hardcover was $25 and some cents, and it showed as free shipping. Sounded pretty darn good to me, so I put in the order and it's supposed to arrive on Friday. Looking forward to it.

I have been looking at the 50 th edition. Just can not decide if it has enough new information vs the 49 th edtion information in it to make it worthwhile. I also have the Lee Modern Reloading 2nd edition and Hornaday 9 th edition plus all of the One Caliber books for each caliber that I reload for. Not sure buying another reloading manual would change anything that I am doing now.

Thanks BinRat for heads up I just cashed in my birthday promo .I got same deal on the hardcover edition.

My manual arrived today, but I haven't had a chance to look it over very much. There's no doubt that it'll be worth every penny for me since my others are old enough to vote.

I was concerned that the hardcover might get banged up corners during shipping, but it arrived in pristine shape. They packed it pretty good.
