I recommend the 34.
I started with a 35 in IPSC and and moved to a 34 in IDPA and steel (its a Sunday issue). The 34 rules in IDPA and in one IPSC division. I, like lance, switched to a 1911 9mm and ain't looking back.
That used to be commonly said and done but somebody messed up by asking for an official policy position and was told that it was not allowable for any division in IDPA.
Spend the price of a buy big - shoot small barrel on loading dies, and maybe one of those Redding bulge eliminator push-through dies.
well shoot. I guess Ill have to start reloading .40 for uspsa. Ill probably just use my G19 for IDPA since the spirit of the game is shoot what you carry in that one. The club closest to me is uspsa anyway. Thanks for the info.
Ive hit a snag. I was buying from a new dealer here in Texas and he sent me an order for it through paypal. I did not notice that he actually put glock 35 instead of something more discreet so they rejected the purchase. That being said I now have asked him to look around for a Glock 34 and that Glock 35 with night sights is still for sale $430 which is a great deal. Contact me via PM and I will put you in touch.
