I love the USP, but hate the crappy grip and safety. Looks like HK fixed both in the HK45. I could care less how it looks if it shoots nice. That MP45 looks tempting too. Guess I better start saving.

Glad to see they didn't drag their heels on the M&P .45 for too long. The handgun makers ignored the .45 crowd wayyyy too much the last 20 years, to their own detriment. The USA has a love affair with the .45 ACP and will buy damn near any handgun so chambered, even though we may ignore the same "new" pistol in 9mm or .40.

On that note, one crowd that really goes for the chambering (with little regard for the platform) are us 10mm freaks. I hate Glocks, but a G-20 is on my list.

I'd be interested in seeing what their Long Gun line is going to be. It's kind of hard to picture: Going into a hunting store to purchase a S&W .22 rifle. Or a 270, or a 30-06 Just odd.
