Anyone have both of these guns, and how do they compare?

I've got a Glock 17, 19, 26 and 30, but yesterday found my self drooling over the S&W M&P's.

So I was wondering who has both, and what do you like about each?

Mossyrock,

Yes, I was holding one yesterday in Portland. It's a great feeling little gun, if I had the cash right now I would probably buy one to try out.

I have owned a G19 and I got rid of it because I could never hit squat with it. That said, I owned a G36 and it was so sweet to shoot and dead accurate. I prefer the M&P 9mm fullsize over the G19 because it feels better in my hand and I can actually hit the center of a paper plate at 15 yards. The M&P compact 9mm.....well that is a different story.:D :D I did a range report a few days ago.

I have an M&P Fullsize and Compact 9mm (have not shot the compact yet though). Sold my G19 last week.

For the most part, the M&P has the Glock beat in every category except reputation, magazine costs and accessories, simplicity/detail stripping.

The Glocks never fit my hand and felt like 2x4s. I actually was able to conceal my Fullsize M&P in a Comptac Infidel better than my G19 in a CTAC. Accuracy wasn't even comparable as Glocks are the only gun that shoot low left for me consistently.

Size wise, the Fullsize is slightly larger than a 19, but slightly smaller than a 17. The 26 seems about the same size as the compact.

What do you mean you have not shot your compact yet?!:what: Get out and put some holes in some paper man!!:p You will like just as much as your fullsize M&P for sure.
GunnNut and Mossyrock, here are pics side by side.

I own a Model 19 Glock and have been fondling an M&P fullsize 9 since the shop got them in.
The Smith is pretty nice but I also have been lusting for the Armalite CZ-75 copy made in Turkey.
Can't make up my mind if I want one or the other, both or neither.
