M1 carbine . . .Gun Smith

My first post. Hi ya'll. I've got an old m1 carbine that needs a "check up". Does any one know a reputable gun smith that they would recommend in the San Diego, CA area?

No, but I wish I was on the beach at LaJolla instead of being in the office over on this side of the US! Wish I could help.

Thanks, rcmodel. George was able to give me some good advise on my M1.
And blkbrd666, why would you want to be at La Jolla beach? Just a bunch of pretty girls in little bikinis running around. Go up the coast a couple of miles, under the glider port, and they take off the bikinis, problem solved.
