2 M1 Carbines from the CMP, one NPM and one Inland. Both having issues. Both were stripped/greased/reassembled upon delivery and haven't shot more than 200-300 rounds each since. I didn't disassemble the bolts. Magazines are 15 round GI mags. Ammo is Aguila.
The Inland often stovepipes a LIVE round on the last round in the mag. In other words, the last round doesn't feed but gets jammed pointing upward between the bolt and the receiver.
The NPM fails to feed near the end of the magazine, and often closes the bolt on an empty chamber.
I'm guessing new mag spring at a minimum to start with... any other ideas? I haven't really worked on carbines before other than to strip/clean/grease them.
