M1 Garand Project - Slingification

Hi all,

I need to be refreshed on the correct leather sling length for an upcoming Garand project.

For the Turner-style slings, is the rule that 50" is for Garands and 54" for ARs?

Those are the generally accepted norms for the front strap on a 1907 type leather sling. Sometimes I've seen 52" used on the M1.
