CMI mags are $20, so I wouldn't bother, but no I have not tried them. Not sure I would trust the small square hole in front and the locking lug in the back to not wear in time.
My only experience with Thermold mags is with AR15, but unless their quality has tremendously improved, I would pass. I once acquired a box of 100 Thermold AR mags for free, some new, some used, worst money I have ever spent.
I have pretty much sole sourced on Checkmate Industries Mags. The stainless magazines they are selling are very slick. Wideners had a sale on them a month back. Not sure if the price is still $19.
I tried a ProMag and another cheap brand years ago and neither worked well. If you want to try it, buy one and test it. The magazine doesn't add significant weight to the rifle so I don't really have a good reason to try polymer mags.
