My second revolver, my only real shooter. Have wanted one before I even knew what they were called. Got some new grips for it (fit the hand great, fit the gun, not the best). HD gun, stays in my nightstand. Don't think I could part with it...

Decided to give it a little show for all you fine S&W fans...

I think the M36 is probably one of my favorite revolvers along with the M&P.

I found a really nice M36 a few years back that I just couldn't do without! It had only 15 rounds through it and came with the original box of ammo bought with it. (35 rounds left) Well of course I "fixed" that the next day and fired 200 round from it! The only thing I don't like is the cut lines on the trigger. After shooting 200 rounds with that trigger your finger gets a little raw!!! LOL (who ever thought of that should be smacked in the head a few times!) Your trigger seems to be smooth, that's good.

I haven't shot a lot of guns in my time, but the previous owner for this one did some work to it I believe. I never understood what "breaking like glass" meant until I fired this one. There is no discernment from when you start pulling until it breaks and fires. I need to oil it, it is not as smooth as the day I got it. The pull is still on the heavy side in DA, it is less than the 2 M10's I have shot, the Victory I used to own, and the other M36 I was looking at (nicer finish, but the trigger was gritty). It locks up tighter than the NIB M10-14 I looked at when I got this.
